Italy remain at the Top of Group B World Cup 2014 Qualifiers

Italy successfully to keep their position in the top of Group B in World Cup 2014 Qualifiers. Playing at San Siro italy managed to defeat Denmark 3-1, this was a good winning for Italy since they were played with ten men. Pablo Osvaldo was sent off after he was condemned by the referee for punching Denmark player, a little harsh decision in my personal opinion.

Prandelli's team was playing very well in the match much better then their previous match, they played calm and well organized. The only thing that should noted was the Offensive line, Osvaldo and Balotelli who was playing that night seems did not suit one another.
Italy take the lead in 33' minute from a goal by AC Milan Player Riccardo Montolivo from outside the box. Assist from a back heel by Balotelli to Montolivo the player unleash powerfull shot that make Denmark's keeper did not moved. Four minutes later Pirlo proved that he is indispensable to Italy, managed to trick two Denmark players at the right flank and sent the ball to the De Rossi. The Roma player managed to get a header into the ball and 2-0 for Italy. Denmark managed to scored a goal from Kvist at the injury time, a half volley from outside penalty box unable to stopped by De Sanctis.

Beside Pirlo, Balotelli is the star in this game he was managed to played very well in the front. Bring a difficulty for Danish defender, Balotelli also managed to scored a goal in 54' minute after escaped froma an offside trap, again another superb long pass from Andrea Pirlo.

With this win Italy has collecting 10 points from 4 matches and remains still at the top position while for Denmark was in fifth position collecting 2 points from 3 matches. It was not a good sign for the Danish, the must push harder if they want to play in the World Cup, otherwise same thing will happen again like Euro 2012 when Denmark is absent from the competition.
