Italia Armenia Match Highlights

Italia secured three points in World Cup qualifier against Armenia, Goal from Pirlo (penalty kick), De Rossi and Osvaldo bring Italia win against Armenia by 3-1. Italia gain this winning painstakingly, after Pirlo's goal in 10' minute, Armenia played very well and equalized in 27' Minute by Henrikh Mhkitaryan.

Italia need to win this match in order to secured ticket to Brazil for World Cup 2014. Italia has played three matches and collect seven points. However, Italia has not play against a difficult opponent in the Group which are Denmark and Czech Rep.

I thought Italia will win the match easily, but my prediction is wrong. After Pirlo's goal, spirited host Armenia played very well. They suppress Italia very well and very good and organized when attacking, their effort is ended well by scoring an equalizer in 27' minute.

During the first half both if the teams did not made any change, Armenia still played very well like in the first half. However fatique has defeat them, slowly more experienced Italian dominated the game. A long pass to Maggio at the right flank received very well by him and sent the ball to Andrea Pirlo in the middle. As usual Pirlo unleash his magical pass into the middle, give De Rossi a free header and lead for Italia in 64' minute.

Italia ensure their three points at 82' minute after Osvaldo successfully unleash a beautiful header continuing a pass from his teammates De Rossi from free kick 3-1 for Italia.

Personally i think Italia still need to work on their performance, during the first half if you are watching the game, offensive side which motored by Osvaldo, Giovinco and Montolivo are so ineffective. Another homework for Italia is how to control the game without dependency with Pirlo. We know Pirlo is the creator in Italia, so the opponent will give a special mark for this player, Italia need to have an alternative for this.
